Directions for Use

For massage, mix 5 drops with 10 ml of carrier oil. For a bath, mix 5 drops with 5 ml of carrier oil. For use as a perfume, mix 1 drop with 10 drops of carrier oil.

Sourcing

Clary Sage is native to certain areas of Europe and the Mediterranean region.

Clary Sage is a biennial plant, which means it flowers every other year. Considered an herb, it can grow up to 1.8 metres tall. Tiny flowers bloom along each tall stem, with an average of four to six flowers per stem. The essential oil is obtained from these flowers by steam distillation. It blooms from late spring to mid-summer, and its flowers are usually pink, white or purplish blue.
